A sweet and short training for women on a journey of healing the mother wound
who want to care for their hunger to be loved without getting caught in shame or resentment
A hunger to be loved leads women to betray their own boundaries, silence their own truth and stop being themselves in myriad ways.
If you've had a difficult relationship with your mother you’re probably familiar with the pang of seeking to be loved, to be seen, to be appreciated and liked.
This might have led you to a limiting sense of self, to step into commitments or relationships while ignoring the warning signs or into a profession that leads you away from your gifts and heart aspirations.

In a society that aggressively advocates for “just move on” and “accept and let it go” we passively absorb the message that the hunger for love is something to be ashamed of.

And we simply can’t move on. Between the shame of needing what we need and the tenacious wish to be seen in our fullness, we can easily get caught up in resentment and difficult feelings.

After working with many women on healing the mother wound, I’ve learned how crucial it is to have clarity around this hunger and access to ways that can soothe and nourish it.

COULD THAT "SOMEONE" BE YOURSELF?!
THE TWO BIGGEST MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT THE HUNGER TO BE LOVED

In this training, I’ll touch on two approaches that send misleading and harmful messages about the hunger to be loved and the mother wound:

1.Push through
The effort to push through an unfulfilled need and wish can simply create an inner spin that keeps feeding your hunger. There’s a much simpler and more compassionate way to face the hunger to be loved.

2. Just accept
Because acceptance is a result of a process and cannot be a goal or an agenda, it’s simply impossible to accept an undesired reality if that reality hasn’t been properly processed. There’s one single thing you’ll always need to start with which allows acceptance to happen by itself.
Hi, I’m Shelly
Over the past 15 years I’ve been working with women worldwide, helping them deepen the healing of their mother wound so they could feel free to be fully themselves, to have supportive relationships and success with their calling.
My work is influenced by 20 years of intensive meditation training with world-renowned teachers, Jungian dreamwork, Hakomi psychotherapy, Polyvagal theory, trauma-informed practices, different therapy training such as Chi Nei Tsang and breath-work, but also the journey of healing my own mother wound of growing up with a mentally ill mother.

In a world that teaches you how to not be yourself, I believe that each woman who reclaims her sovereignty helps restore the balance we need in the world.
IN THIS TRAINING WE'LL GET THROUGH THREE THINGS:
1. The profound spiritual teachings about what the hunger for love really is and why it's a key to healing the mother wound
2. Simple practices you can apply immediately to release shame or resentment about the hunger to be loved and appreciated
3. Answering questions from you
